Character Description

Mania was born to Nyx and Phobos before the creation of the creation of man. To most her story remains to be a mystery, in fact all that is known regarding the goddess is that her name depends on the very mood that she is in. When she is in her rabid frenetic rage, the Greek goddess is known as 'Lyssa', while when she's calm and calculated often is called 'Mania'. Though the goddess tends to kept to herself within the underworld, there are several whom associate the vindictive goddess with Erinyes and the furries. All that's concrete in regards to the goddess is that no one is safe from the madness, not even the other immortals.

hey guys, i’m rhaella, i’ve been role playing for a little more than nine years now. mania is my oldest roleplay character, which means she’s been around for that duration of that long period. so she’s been through many many cringeworthy phases, however that hasn’t stopped me from completely scrapping 90% of her old development and started a new with her. with that being said, i feel that it’s worth noting that she has been completely remodeled since the last time i have used her. so yeah, i’ve been indulging in greek mythology lore and lots of research over the years. but, please note if you do look into her on your own you will find countless differences depending on who’s articles or description you are reading. i know over the years, i’ve seen her called different names depending on her mood, who’s writing about her. I’ve seen her said to have had different fathers such as Erebus, Orion, Phobos and many more. I’ve even seen several articles where her only parent is Nyx. With her being lesser known in today’s standards does make that a tad difficult. so my portrayal tends to go off of the most common beliefs regarding her!
